Last issue's teaser concerned the finishing positions of 5 orienteers at a meet. The following solution is offered: Gary finished in 2nd place, Kevin in 16th position, Neil in 25th spot, Bob in 32nd position, and Ray finished 48th. (Please note that the research team has been working on this problem since last December and only solved it during this past weekend. The assignment of the names to finishing positions was entirely at random and any resemblance of these names to real orienteering-type persons is completely coincidental. End of disclaimer.)
