The rain stayed away, but the wind kept the temperature down making for another bracing start. Participants were able to warm up after the race began. The sun came out eventually, but it never really warmed up. Good thing the friendship and camaraderie made up for it!
Today, we had a few difficulties with the SportIdent
equipment.
Lessons learned:
- Be sure to place SI units at ALL
controls.
- Synchronize time on before setting out
SI controls.
- Older dibblers only support control
numbers 1-255.
- David's battery pack worked great!
Due to these difficulties, these results have been "massaged" from the raw data. Split results are not available.
